Jerry Bogus is a native of Birmingham, AL, and is the owner of Jerry A. Bogus Insurance Agency in Pooler GA. Mr. Bogus is a retired US Marine and retired as a decorated Gunnery Sergeant. He served at Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA; Dallas TX; Tulsa, OK; Okinawa, Japan, South Korea and Marine Corps Air Station SC. He also served six successful years as a Marine Corp
Recruiter. He has a Degree in Environmental Technology / Occupational Safety.
His insurance career began in 1999. His diverse background is from working for more than 25 major Insurance providers. Mr. Bogus served as Chairman of the Port Wentworth Chamber of
Commerce for 2 years. He is currently serving his 14th year on the Port Wentworth Planning Commission Board. He is also a member of the Pooler Lions Club, NAREB, and West Chatham Marine Corps League.
