The Pooler Lions Club held their 9th Annual Chipping for Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Crosswinds Golf Club. All proceeds from the tournament will fund the Pooler Lions Club Charity Fund and support our work helping the blind and visually impaired. Although Vision is one of our major areas, we are also involved in the community with Environmental, Childhood Cancer, Diabetes and Hunger service projects. Our membership is growing as well as the number of service projects we are involved with. We invite you to become part of it.
Golf Chair, Linda Saytanides stated, “We were excited to have 88 golfers for our 9th Annual Chipping for Charity Golf Tournament. Our golf tournament is the Club’s major fundraiser and is our biggest friend raiser. We had over 55 businesses supporting us with prizes and auction items. Thanks to all our golfers who came out and supported us – not only by golfing but bidding on our silent auction. Your support will go a long way in helping our community.”
